Remember Me+3

Per College Station and Bryan ordinances, no more than four unrelated individuals can reside in most single-family homes. Those found to be in violation are subject to fines ranging from $250 to $2000 per summons or citation. Legal action can continue daily until the offending housing arrangement is corrected. To check whether a home in College Station can legally house more (or fewer) than four unrelated people, see the city's Occupancy Difference Map.

Introducing the Good Neighbor Network

This exciting collaboration between Student Life and local property managers is designed to create a supportive off-campus living experience for students. By committing to high standards in resident safety, property maintenance, fair leasing practices, and open communication with the university, we’re ensuring that students can thrive in their home away from home.

Be a Good Neighbor

Being a good neighbor covers everything from knowing when the trash gets picked up to understanding ordinances for noise. Here are some tips to follow: meet your neighbors and offer your cell phone number; respect differences in lifestyles; be helpful when neighbors have a need; know town ordinances related to parking, noise, and yard maintenance; and be responsible for your guests. Be sure to review the City of College Station Code Enforcement site  and the City of Bryan Code Enforcement site.
